Abauble is a small, wet planet not too far from Earth. Like Earth, it is home to many different living creatures. Also like Earth, one major sapient species has evolved and come to inhabit nearly every corner of the planet, developing complex technologies which have augmented and transformed their lifestyles along the way.
One of these sapient residents would describe themself as a qomelle. Qomelles are capable of sophisticated camouflage, which allows them to convincingly reshape and recolor their body to resemble many different surroundings, as well as even other lifeforms. The mechanisms of this camouflage are kept a closely guarded secret by Abaubleans and are poorly understood outside of Abauble.
