Because the Islands span a pretty big area of the world and contain altitudes from sea level to approximately 8,000ft above, there is a variety of flora and fauna observable on them. Some notable creatures are listed below.

big poultry
the ubiquitous domestic bird of the islands, this grouse-like bird is raised all over for sustenance and for ornamentation. primarily raised for meat, occasionally their eggs are also consumed. the bird's colorful feathers are also common decorations on elvish textiles.

yummybird
the [...], translated literally as "yummybird," is a prized delicacy for it's flavorful meat, but is difficult to raise. yummybird feathers are also used for decoration occasionally, although not as often as the larger poultrybird's.

bunny
the bunny is adorable and valued for companionship as well as their soft fur.

fish
a variety of seafood is also found in the islander diet. saltwater fish, crustaceans, and the occasional ocean plant are much more commonly and widely consumed than any of the freshwater aquatic animals; inland, poultry becomes more dominant.
